Alysha Flynn is a Road Marathoner, Trail Ultra Runner, and Certified Coach with over 30 years of running experience and nearly 20 years of coaching expertise. Her work has been featured in Runner’s World, SELF, Forbes, CNN, Vogue, and RunHer Magazine through expert contributions and thought leadership in the endurance space.

As a consultant and coach for the Every Woman’s Marathon, she creates inclusive training guides and educational content that support thousands of female marathoners across the country.

Alysha’s approach is grounded in lived experience and shaped by real life. She helps women train for PRs, rebuild after burnout, return from injury or pregnancy, and reconnect with running in seasons that demand flexibility. Whether you’re chasing a big goal or finding your way back to the start line, Alysha meets you where you are and helps you move forward with confidence.

WHY I COACH THIS WAY

Over nearly 20 years of coaching women, I’ve learned that the biggest challenge usually isn’t the workout itself. It’s everything else they’re carrying.

Motherhood. Careers. Caregiving. Ambitious goals. Grief. Burnout. The invisible weight of everyday life.

Training layers on top of all of it.

That’s why I don’t build training plans around perfect weeks.

I build coaching around real life—so women can grow stronger in both the miles and the life around them.
